A Celebration Under the Stars

As the theatre season begins, we've "dusted off" our production for young patients, A Celebration Under the Stars. We bring this performance to seriously ill children across all departments at the University Hospital in Hradec Králové and at the General University Hospital in Prague.

Sometimes, we perform just for one child while the parents take a moment for themselves—go for a walk, clear their heads, maybe enjoy a quiet coffee. But more often, we perform for the whole family, creating a shared experience right there in the hospital. Together, they can join the story, co-create the performance, and play along with us.

This is why we value theatre in palliative care—because we bring it to people who otherwise wouldn’t have a chance to go to the theatre. And we see the rare joy such an experience brings to families.
