Váňová
Director & Child Life Specialist
Michaela studied acting at the Prague Conservatory and drama education at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU), where she now teaches (MgA., Ph.D.). She also taught at the Faculty of Education, Charles University. As the founder and director of Vlaštovka, she now works under its wings as a child life specialist. She is a graduate of ICPCN and EPEC-Pediatrics (Levels 1, 2, 3), and is currently pursuing the U.S. certification to become a Certified Child Life Specialist. Her current focus is on exploring the therapeutic role of play and theatre in palliative care, and she regularly leads seminars on child life practices. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and dancing.

Štanclová
Child Life Specialist
Růženka vystudovala Katedru alternativní tvorby a pedagogiky na DAMU v Praze (BcA.). Pracuje jako učitelka dramatické výchovy v ZUŠ Prosek a je divadelní lektorkou divadla Minor. Jako herní specialistka nyní pracuje v Nemocnici Hořovice, kde se věnuje dětem na oddělení následné intenzivní péče. Pod křídly Vlaštovky absolvovala kurz ICPCN - Úvod do dětské paliativní péče. Ráda se odreaguje hraním deskových her, výletem do lesa, a při pečení.

Child Life Specialist in Training
Šárka earned her master’s degree in special education with a focus on dramatherapy in Olomouc and is currently completing her master’s studies in drama education at DAMU in Prague. She previously worked as a facilitator of prevention programs with Sdružení D in Olomouc and led drama and leisure groups through DDM and Kroužky. She now teaches drama at the School of Arts in Liberec. Outside of Vlaštovka, she enjoys singing, theatre, playing the piano, and sports.

Anna
Špručková
Project Coordinator
Anna studied Sociology and Adult Education at Palacký University in Olomouc. After graduation, she spent some time living in Scotland. She has several years of experience in project coordination across education, event management, and HR. Her socially responsible work includes volunteering at charity events and internships at special education schools. At Vlaštovka, she coordinates project activities and supports the director. She enjoys running races, singing at public events, spending time in nature — and is newly a proud mom.

Klára Šťouračová
Support in Coordination & Child Life Specialist in Training
Klára studied in the United States and earned a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from a university in St. Louis. She has over ten years of experience in various areas of HR in multinational companies. Klára is also co-founder of the educational initiative makeITtoday, which helps children develop creativity and essential skills through programming. At Vlaštovka, she supports the coordination of activities and is currently training to become a child life specialist. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time in nature, and doing sports. She also plays the piano and ukulele — art, in all its forms, brings her joy and inspiration.

Veronika Rubášová
Production Manager: Every Moment Matters
Veronika holds a bachelor's degree in Andragogy and Human Resources from Charles University and is currently finishing her undergraduate studies in Korean Studies at Palacký University in Olomouc, with plans to pursue a master’s degree in the same field. During her studies, she gained experience in production, especially through work with the NOTDIS theatre group in Turnov and by coordinating the podcast Hlava v pohodě, which focuses on mental health. She enjoys spending time with friends, being in nature, creating music, and dancing. At Vlaštovka, she uses her production skills to coordinate performances and promote the theatre piece Every Moment Counts.
