Through play we prepare children with serious illnesses for medical interventions, teach them strategies for coping with pain, create a safe environment to express emotions and bridge the gap between home and the unknown.

For children with critical illnesses and adults at the final stage of their life we put on theatre performances to help distract them from pain, activate their senses and to offer them an opportunity to encounter the arts when they can no longer visit the theatre themselves.

Through theatre, we share ideas and the importance of palliative care. We offer a glimpse into the lives of families going through difficult times. Theatre allows us to present this challenging topic with lightness, humour, and perspective.

We are happy to share our experience working with children with other professionals in the field. We are currently developing tailor-made courses and seminars for groups of doctors, nurses, social workers, and medical students.
