Benefit concert for Vlaštovka: Experiences were auctioned off

You will surely remember what you received for last Christmas. A book? Socks? A photo album? Whatever it was, you were certainly happy. We were also happy at the end of last year, because something amazing happened. Thanks to the students, we raised almost 400 thousand crowns for our activities!

It all started in a Prague elementary school.

Czech-English Montessori Primary School Duhovka organizes a winter benefit concert every year, the proceeds of which are always donated to a non-profit organization selected in advance. We were delighted when the school management contacted us with the news that this year they wanted to support Vlaštovka.

At two Advent events, where parents also came with their children, there was singing, dancing, punch being sold on stage, and the students themselves even took care of moderating the event. It was cheerful and touching. A popular activity was the auction of experiences, where parents bid on piano lessons, volleyball, wire-drawing, fly-fishing or an experience of baking Christmas cookies.

All the funds that were collected were given to us by the Duhovka school to use to purchase aids that help children with pain, and which will help us continue our education and work with more families. It was an incredible 397,457,-

We are happy that we received such a Christmas gift and that it will bring joy to those who need support and joy the most. By connecting students and parents, Duhovka School has shown that everyone, even entire families, can help. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for that!
