Theater for the general public, professionals and families of patients

We like to talk about serious things with insight, lightness and a little exaggeration. That's why we use theater, which allows us to open up difficult topics sensitively and with humor. It is important for us to show the subject in a way that is not burdensome and traumatizing for the viewers, but not to trivialize it at the same time.

In cooperation with the Vlčkovy Family Foundation, we created a theater production Every Moment Matters, which tells the story of a family with a seriously ill child. Although it is a challenging topic, we look at it more from a comical side. Thanks to the many comic situations in the story, the viewer can think about the topic himself or just be entertained by the excellent actors in the safety of fiction.

Every moment counts

What moments in life matter most to us? Which moments of our life are precious to us? Why "every moment counts"? A birthday theatrical celebration of joy that offers the audience the opportunity to immerse themselves with humor and perspective in a story about the fear of the end of life.

"I always kind of knew it. When I was about seven and you were at my Christmas party... I stood on the stage among other children who were so scared that their voices were shaking and some even cried... and the girls kept pulling up their tights nervously... I stood there completely calm and couldn't wait for us to start singing Christ the Lord was born in chorus. I wasn't afraid because you, dad, told me the night before: 'It's not what's going to happen, but how you enjoy it. Enjoy every second and everything will be fine.' So I stood there enjoying every second. And everything was good. When the first notes of the piano sounded, I closed my eyes and listened... I was enjoying that it would be Christmas soon, that everyone around me was singing and that I could breathe... I opened my eyes and you were holding hands in front of me and laughing because you saw that I was silent and just listening… And I was happy that you were there with me… Then the last stanza started and I quickly closed my eyes to enjoy it before it ended. And in that moment, I understood what it means that every moment counts.”
